11th Month Update
Starting from March 4th, I began the “Ten Thousand Steps a Day” challenge. I chose to walk in the nearby park every morning to breathe in fresh air. However, due to severe pulmonary edema over the past three months, I have been sitting to sleep every night and rarely going out, causing my whole back to ache. Fortunately, after consistently walking for a week, the flexibility of my waist improved. I also started to do gentle aerobic dance to stretch my upper body. At first, lifting my left arm was difficult, but after a few times, there was significant progress. Later, I found that tapping on my lungs made it easier to cough up phlegm, so I continued to do so. Mid-month, the doctor told me that the X-ray showed slight fibrosis in my lungs and suggested inhaling a small amount of oxygen regularly for treatment. The doctor also found that the cells in the lower half of my lungs had hardened due to sediment from the pulmonary edema, so both lungs appeared white at the bottom on the X-ray. It seems that despite my efforts, there is still no way to completely recover. Cancer has left its sequelae on my body.
