5th Month Update
Some disappeared physiological normal features are gradually returning, such as sneezing. However, due to engaging in aerobic dance both morning and night, playing sports, and climbing mountains during leisure time, the fatigue of my body has been worsening. My digestive system can’t get a rest, leading to increasingly severe constipation. Even the laxatives prescribed by the doctor are becoming less effective over time! Initially, I thought it was caused by medications, but later I realized it’s because my body is too tired. I haven’t been getting enough sleep every day, and the CEA only decreased slightly, reaching 104.
I asked the doctor if it’s necessary to continue the injections of Avastin (a cancer medication). The doctor responded that for people with EGFR mutations, combining it with Iressa would yield better results. However, due to the scarcity of ROS1 cases, it is currently unknown whether the combination of the two is more effective. On 09/22, after a month since the last drainage, the lung fluid has reduced to only 800.
